You have to delete dvb & analogic recordings.

So deleting atv recordings:

rm -f /tmp/hdd/dvdvr/DVD_RTAV/*
reboot

and delete dvb recordings:

rm -f /tmp/hdd/dvdvr/dvb/*
rm -f /tmp/hdd/root/tsRecord.db
reboot

I have also some issues with the moviecube hanging/crashing. I then reinstall the firmware with the version 7.51 from Honki and after the installation I have access again to my recording partition and FAT32-partition. I only need to scan for the channels again and sort them in the order I want them. Also I need to reprogram the timer, so I can record my programs.

Onderstaande vond ik op een forum, werkt bij firmware versie 6.2.1262UO(519).

Ik ga er voor het gemak even vanuit dat je Windows gebruikt. Je gaat naar start > uitvoeren en typt: telnet 192.168.0.247 (Of wat dan ook het IP is van je S800. Het IP kun je bij de netwerkinstellingen in de S800 vinden.)

Dan krijg je een zwart schermpje er staat: “Venus login: “. Daar typ je: “root” (zonder aanhalingstekens) en druk op enter. Nu krijg je wat text en een # met een knipperende cursor.

Nu gaan we 2 regels tekst toevoegen aan een bestand, wat elke keer bij het opstarten geladen wordt. Typ de volgende 2 regels exact over. Let op de aanhalingstekens. Let vooral op de >>. Type hier NIET perongeluk > ipv >>, want dan heb je een probleem.

De volgende 2 regels moet je exact overtypen:

echo “/usr/sbin/nmbd -D” >> /usr/local/etc/rcS

echo “/usr/sbin/smbd -D” >> /usr/local/etc/rcS

Typ als laatste: reboot

Nu zal de S800 gaan rebooten. Het kan een paar seconden duren voordat je daadwerkelijk wat ziet gebeuren van de reboot… Na de reboot is je S800 permanent beschikbaar als NAS.
